Abdi's Responsibilities
Answer the questions from the passage with someone at home or by writing them down on a piece of paper or by making a video to send to your teacher on SeeSaw:
- What are some of Abdi's responsibilities at home?

Activity: Find the Responsibilities booklet in your paper package. Colour some of your responsibilities in the different areas of your life (at home, at school and within my community) and trace the words at the bottom of each page.
Complete the last page by identifying what you are responsible for within a group and why you are responsible, then trace the words at the bottom of the page.

Find the Responsibilities vs. Rights mini-book in your paper package. Tracey or fill in the boxes to complete the sentences, then read the book to someone at home. Finally, colour the pictures.

Complete the Let’s Dress for the Weather mini-book.
- On each page read the sentence and write the ending, then draw the appropriate clothing onto the bear.
- On the last page, pick your favourite weather that has not been written about, complete the sentences and draw a picture of you in the appropriate clothing.
- When finished, colour the book and practice reading it with someone in your house.
- Need: pencil, eraser, colouring materials
